But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noureddine Sanchis couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute of the match PINGO PINGO got a corner. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Noureddine Sanchis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Micarelli in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosimo Mascia saved LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO from getting behind. In the 46th match minute, PINGO PINGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Tancoš to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

PINGO PINGO's Filip Josefsson was substituted for Alvaro Micarelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Josefsson in the 65th minute of play forced LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalkeeper Cosimo Mascia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Milan Froněk's late challenge caught a PINGO PINGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
