An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Wallace in the 5th minute of play forced Sokolica SSA's goalkeeper Miromir Barys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugon Limanowski got free with Bruno Barrett in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lech Sliwinski hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sokolica SSA's Cezary Fabiszak got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Rocco Owen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Sokolica SSA booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanley Wallace didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyle Davies scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miromir Barys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Sokolica SSA defense, Stanley Wallace kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miromir Barys. The Sokolica SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miromir Barys should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Sokolica SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Wallace came free, but Miromir Barys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miromir Barys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Davies stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gilbert Niemojewski fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sokolica SSA's protests and gave Gilbert Niemojewski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Gilbert Niemojewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Hugon Limanowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Hugon Limanowski sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. When Sokolica SSA's Mariusz Gniewek in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curacao's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Doyle to maneuver through the defense. Damian Mios hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Curacao's Miromir Barys threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Davies, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Davies in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miromir Barys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariusz Gniewek hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sokolica SSA's Hugon Limanowski. But to his dismay, Hugon Limanowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 96th minute of play forced Sokolica SSA's goalkeeper Miromir Barys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Curacao eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
