Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik Jonasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erhan İmruz in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Mehmet Çağrı Tulum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when akıncıspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevher Uğurlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Ippolit Blinov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Erhan İmruz came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. akıncıspor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Hayri Sabuncu in the 26th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Ippolit Blinov to score against Joaquin Gayoso in Uruguay's goal. 3-1 after 26 minutes. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mehmet Çağrı Tulum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Erhan İmruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 33rd minute akıncıspor were awarded a corner. Ahmet Hayri Sabuncu went to the cornerflag to take it. Ahmet Hayri Sabuncu made a great header on akıncıspor's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erhan İmruz in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erhan İmruz was the one to do the kick off. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Jonasson in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes in the game Aykutalp Atikoğlu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kerimhan Aksoy. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erhan İmruz in the 57th minute of play. Alberto Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by akıncıspor's Erhan İmruz. But to his dismay, Erhan İmruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, akıncıspor's Erhan İmruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mehmet Çağrı Tulum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Çağrı Tulum having to interfere. In the 82nd minute of the game Aykutalp Atikoğlu made a throw-in which Erhan İmruz played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Erhan İmruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Erhan İmruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! akıncıspor's Vecdet Olcaytu pulled a muscle in his leg after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Maximiliano Escribano's late challenge caught a akıncıspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Escribano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhan İmruz in the 97th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. akıncıspor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
