Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Senne Vrijdags in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuure Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Xhoris were awarded a corner. Gust Swiggers went to the cornerflag to take it. Gust Swiggers made a great header on Xhoris's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Gust Swiggers who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Richard Billberg. Xhoris's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Gust Swiggers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Gust Swiggers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gust Swiggers really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Gust Swiggers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Senne Vrijdags fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Samuel Roosendael's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Richard Billberg in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gust Swiggers in the 58th minute of play. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gust Swiggers in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Samuel Roosendael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Roosendael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuure Jamieson in the 75th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gust Swiggers might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gust Swiggers ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Richard Billberg could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Richard Billberg in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Zapryan Vasov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Zapryan Vasov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
