Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Zlatko Stumbov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knights Templar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knights Templar's goalkeeper Bozhin Palakarchev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of play forced Knights Templar's goalkeeper Bozhin Palakarchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Knights Templar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Patricio Costa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Rungrueng Rau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knights Templar's supporters rose to their feet, but Rungrueng Rau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Knights Templar's Rungrueng Rau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sava Dodov in the 18th minute of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bozhin Palakarchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zlatko Stumbov got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Rungrueng Rau sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Sava Dodov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Knights Templar's Sava Dodov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Zlatko Stumbov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zlatko Stumbov really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 40 played minutes Knights Templar got a freekick which was hit by Damyan Labov. In the 42nd minute, Zlatko Stumbov made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. With an all-out effort, Knights Templar's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sava Dodov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zlatko Stumbov to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 60th minute Sava Dodov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sava Dodov scored 5-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Stumbov came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Merodiyski made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rungrueng Rau. 73 minutes into the game, Knights Templar's Zlatko Stumbov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The supporters of Knights Templar booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Knights Templar's Sava Dodov. But to his dismay, Sava Dodov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bozhin Palakarchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bozhin Palakarchev having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Bozhin Palakarchev threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joshua Secada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zlatko Stumbov in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Fedosz in the 94th minute of play. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
