The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. Barış İdilkurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, DerbedeR spor's goalkeeper Barış İdilkurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Covarrubias. 18 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of DerbedeR spor's Barış İdilkurt. Barış İdilkurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, DerbedeR spor's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Covarrubias came free, but Barış İdilkurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match, Jaime Pardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Barış İdilkurt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Barış İdilkurt. Jaime Pardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Jaime Pardo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Barış İdilkurt to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Barış İdilkurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DerbedeR spor's Göktan Tolgahan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Sanz in the 45 minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barış İdilkurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barış İdilkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ümit Sarih who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Barış İdilkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Diego Tenorio in the 60th minute of play. Barış İdilkurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, DerbedeR spor's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Barış İdilkurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barış İdilkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, DerbedeR spor's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Escribano came free, but Barış İdilkurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Paraguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Pardo went to the cornerflag to take it. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Barış İdilkurt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 73 minutes into the match, Xavier Zoido notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of DerbedeR spor's Barış İdilkurt. Barış İdilkurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Arif Egemen Adalı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Sanz made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by DerbedeR spor's İzzettin Orgen. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barış İdilkurt. Barış İdilkurt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barış İdilkurt was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paraguay fully deserved thier win.
