Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bäckström having to interfere. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koppány Novák in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Chad Pro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hawelka Himalayan High's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hawelka Himalayan High's Chad Pro got a free kick in the 28th minute. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Bäckström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 46 played minutes Hawelka Himalayan High got a freekick which was hit by Dag Eliasson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredrik Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koppány Novák in the 54th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fredrik Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute. Hawelka Himalayan High's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Fredrik Bäckström, making the score, 0-3. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chad Pro in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hawelka Himalayan High.
