Thierry Hermans did an outstanding performance 9 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Pedro Manzanares in the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in 1930 Bafraspor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by 1930 Bafraspor's Henk Veerman. But to his dismay, Henk Veerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Çakır Alyakut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santino Seco in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Rıdvan Balıkçı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Çakır Alyakut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çakır Alyakut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Çakır Alyakut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute. After 34 minutes, Rıdvan Balıkçı made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. After 58 minutes 1930 Bafraspor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarhan Sarkhoh in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute 1930 Bafraspor were awarded a corner. Thierry Hermans went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Martin Johansson at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Colombia. 2-4. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Veerman in the 71st minute of play. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Çakır Alyakut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Çakır Alyakut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 1930 Bafraspor made a substitution. Osman Gulson replaced Ignacy Sroka. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. When the final whistle sounded 1930 Bafraspor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Colombia.
