R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's attentive Ola Lekberg managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalkeeper Tony Uchiha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Ambrosio Frisco got a free kick in the 28th minute. Cristo Rey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Cristo Rey scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's attack was well implemented in the 41st minute, but when Cristo Rey was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristo Rey was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 minutes of play, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Cristo Rey made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the game, Ola Lekberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Danilo Illart got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gerardo Chabier. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Uchiha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Adışirin Azayev was substituted for Ambrosio Frisco. After 70 minutes R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. In the 81st minute Cristo Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Adışirin Azayev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Danilo Illart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И.
