Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 18 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ege Nesefi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22ndth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karamázov's Brickeen Wall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ege Nesefi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ahmet Ege Nesefi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Alexei Karamazov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Placido Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Goi. Placido Goi struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karamázov. After having played for 45 minutes, Ahmet Ege Nesefi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karamázov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Ege Nesefi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 46th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ahmet Ege Nesefi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Braulio Uhin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Placido Goi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 96th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to Venezuela's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Ahmet Ege Nesefi tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Jonathan Ferrant seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save.
