The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonsinho Negri got free with Dante Lacasa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DeaDpOoL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alişan Togay in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute of play forced DeaDpOoL's goalkeeper Ulu İhya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Zhu Yue came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulu İhya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tormaigh Cassin in the 68th minute of play. DeaDpOoL's Ulu İhya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save DeaDpOoL from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Zorita in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulu İhya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tormaigh Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tormaigh Cassin's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Orhan Bozdoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Mexico's Luca Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Zorita in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulu İhya. Ulu İhya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
