Karamázov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 23 played minutes Karamázov got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Bumbescu. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brickeen Wall having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karamázov's Brickeen Wall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brickeen Wall in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Ege Nesefi. In the 38th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brickeen Wall was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Placido Goi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Placido Goi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karamázov's Brickeen Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Placido Goi struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karamázov.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Goi was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Placido Goi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brickeen Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute of the match Adrian Bumbescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karamázov's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Ege Nesefi in the 69th minute. After 73 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
