In the 66th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Roch Fudalej ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gwidon Jaworski came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Gwidon Jaworski in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gwidon Jaworski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. When Ludomir Duda came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Wiesenfeld SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomir Duda couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Duda, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gwidon Jaworski made a huge save. The Wiesenfeld SA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
