Wambasther Henry succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Salgado came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Salgado in the 27th minute of play. But to his dismay, Wambasther Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ahmet Sedat Sefa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Salgado came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bendensin SK's Ahmet Sedat Sefa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Bendensin SK's Yavuz Bal got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wambasther Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Wambasther Henry's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Chile's Gerardo Pozo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Salgado in the 53rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Tor Salgado could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Thiago Pliego however easily saved by the left post. Ahmet Sedat Sefa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Şeray Kartay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Indiano kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Wambasther Henry who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match, Wambasther Henry tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 82nd minute, Alan Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jóhannes Brahms managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bendensin SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jóhannes Brahms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Sefa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Wambasther Henry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Sedat Sefa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 90th minute of the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Orlando Casaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
