Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Sebastian Pârcălab received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Pârcălab slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Swatar United FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Swatar United FC's Sebastian Pârcălab got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Pârcălab in the 11th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Swatar United FC's Andre Fava got a free kick in the 15th minute. Patryk Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play. Patryk Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Joshua Secada hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play forced Swatar United FC's goalkeeper Patryk Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 32nd minute of play forced Swatar United FC's goalkeeper Patryk Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neil Micallef got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patryk Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Mario Salerno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute Sebastian Pârcălab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute Patricio Costa suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Andre Fava fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swatar United FC's protests and gave Andre Fava a yellow card for diving instead. After 49 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Andre Fava. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Patryk Siekierski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 55 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swatar United FC's goalkeeper Patryk Siekierski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Salerno in the 60th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Pârcălab in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patryk Siekierski saved Swatar United FC from getting behind. Neil Micallef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Swatar United FC got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Neil Micallef ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 92nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Swatar United FC had played much better football throughout.
