After 34 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. When Jorge Magrina fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Jorge Magrina a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Magrina kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Norbert Kalmár's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ricardo Zorita firmly grabbed it by the left post.
