After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Wambasther Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bendensin SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Wambasther Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Sedat Sefa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of the match. Orlando Casaus hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bendensin SK's Marcelo Martínez got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Wambasther Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Wambasther Henry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Sefa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Wambasther Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Wambasther Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute.
