When Kálmán Szaniszló was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 75th minute of the game Olivér Laczkó made a throw-in which Norbert Kalmár played forward. After 78 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Magrina. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Norbert Kalmár sent off a good shot on target. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
