Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chesterfield's Petr Trnka started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. 俞军景 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 8th minute, Petr Trnka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Gwidon Pawelczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chesterfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwidon Pawelczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Petr Trnka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Petr Trnka could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Chesterfield's Lorenzo Bazkoare quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 19th minute of the game. Chesterfield's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 康雄霆 in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petr Trnka in the 24th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Chesterfield defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 俞军景. The Chesterfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 俞军景 should have stopped the shot. Petr Trnka might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petr Trnka ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petr Trnka. After a rather tough play, Chesterfield's Lorenzo Bazkoare got a free kick in the 36th minute. Salvador Gisbert's late challenge caught a Chesterfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Pawelczyk in the 47th minute of play.

Chesterfield made a substitution. Cosme Chale replaced Gwidon Pawelczyk. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petr Trnka in the 58th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petr Trnka went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 洪默扬 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Petr Trnka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 康雄霆 was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 俞军景 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Petr Trnka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chesterfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Petr Trnka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Salvador Gisbert in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chesterfield's Lorenzo Bazkoare. In the 89th minute, Cosme Chale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chesterfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Cosme Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere.
