Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Mauro Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Bejrut succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. With an all-out effort, Brokopondo's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Barnaba Blochowiak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Barnaba Blochowiak in the 19thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 20 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kazimierz Falkowski who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Brokopondo's corner Kazimierz Falkowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brokopondo's goalkeeper Mauro Esteves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mauro Esteves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Brokopondo's Mauro Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Brokopondo defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Esteves. The Brokopondo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Esteves should have stopped the shot. After 30 played minutes Brokopondo got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bialakowski. In the 34th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Bejrut struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brokopondo. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Bejrut. In the 43rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Brokopondo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brokopondo's Mauro Esteves did a great save. In the 46th minute of the match, Barnaba Blochowiak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Brokopondo's Che Guevara was substituted for Kazimierz Falkowski. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barnaba Blochowiak to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barnaba Blochowiak went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Brokopondo's Zbyszko Rakowski was substituted for Tobiasz Derlanga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Che Guevara in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Che Guevara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Blochowiak in the 66th minute of play. Brokopondo were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barnaba Blochowiak took the corner. The corner ended in Barnaba Blochowiak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Brokopondo's Andrzej Klawki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute Barnaba Blochowiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugeniusz Czapski kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mauro Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Brokopondo's Mauro Esteves. Mauro Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Ecuador players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Brokopondo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
