In the 6thth minute of the game Ismael Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquín Vásquez scored 2-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquín Vásquez was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Payasitos's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Seyhun Temirhan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 顾笑源 went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Coyences having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Ismael Barreto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ismael Barreto really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when 顾笑源 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Coyences breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, 顾笑源 notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when 顾笑源 got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and 顾笑源 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 顾笑源 really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. In the 46th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Coyences saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Coyences dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 顾笑源 in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute, Ismael Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Jose Correa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eduardo Coyences tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Coyences showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute Ismael Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Payasitos made a substitution.
