Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) UFC Tariverde's Basarab Roşca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Encuțoiu in the 4th minute. If Eduard Encuțoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Roşca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Roşca came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes, Gavril Isărescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UFC Tariverde and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Eduard Encuțoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. 42 minutes into the game, Călin Nisipeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Tariverde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Călin Nisipeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as UFC Tariverde's Gavril Isărescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, UFC Tariverde's Avram Pâslaru got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Basarab Roşca made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Avram Pâslaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 60th minute of the match. When Moise Calomfirescu fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Tariverde's protests and gave Moise Calomfirescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, UFC Tariverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Calomfirescu to maneuver through the defense. Avram Pâslaru made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. Abel Carballo's late challenge caught a UFC Tariverde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. 70 minutes into the match, UFC Tariverde's Eduard Encuțoiu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lautaro Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Avram Pâslaru made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Eliseo Noboa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Avram Pâslaru, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, UFC Tariverde's Manole Dimofte got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Roşca came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of UFC Tariverde booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Pâslaru having to interfere. In the 95th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Axel Tasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Avram Pâslaru quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. UFC Tariverde fully deserved thier win.
