Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Canada's Koby Wright started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Harris in the 3rd minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Scarafia Ghost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustin Bâru struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Jax Williamson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Go Ahead Eagles. Scarafia Ghost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter George in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Mccarthy in the 20th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Scarafia Ghost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jax Williamson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Bâru's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Iustin Bâru took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter George in the 35th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Scarafia Ghost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match, Fernando Amorebieta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jax Williamson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Amorebieta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jax Williamson. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fernando Amorebieta made the kick off in the second half. Mateusz Zabrzeski hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of Canada booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dani Carbajal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Koby Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canada's supporters rose to their feet, but Koby Wright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Scarafia Ghost breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Vural Akyol. Canada's Filip Edwards was substituted for Koby Wright. Vural Akyol kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Scarafia Ghost didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Dixon went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 70thth minute of the game Fernando Amorebieta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canada's Jax Williamson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Go Ahead Eagles got a corner. Canada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cássio Gonçalves ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Canada's zone, Iustin Bâru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jax Williamson came out of the goal and Iustin Bâru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Go Ahead Eagles made a substitution. Erling Lewandowski replaced Iustin Bâru. 94 minutes into the game, Prince Anderson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Scarafia Ghost was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 97 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Zabrzeski. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
