Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) MORPH's Carel Rokeloos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Mambru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute of the match USA got a corner. MORPH's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the MORPH defense, Monty Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Mambru. The MORPH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Mambru should have stopped the shot. Melquiades Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Paez hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 27th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by MORPH's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. After 29 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Edward Mcdonald. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Berdaitz in the 34th minute. Melquiades Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Teo Paez. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 38th minute of the match. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 40th minute of play. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carel Rokeloos's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MORPH's Celedonio Esquipula got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MORPH's Delmar Udalaitz was substituted for Emiliano Berdaitz. MORPH made a substitution. Isidro Lano replaced Celedonio Esquipula. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MORPH were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ambrosio Estevez took the corner. In the 64th minute, Tommi Van Der Meren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 72nd minute of the match. Melquiades Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 77th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Eguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MORPH's Teo Paez got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Bradley hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Melquiades Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommi Van Der Meren kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. USA played a much better game than MORPH and deserved their victory. The MORPH players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
