Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Chelaru. 9 minutes into the game, Marc Wagner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MZ Rapid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. In the 9th minute, Marc Wagner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when MZ Rapid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Wagner didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Chelaru got free with Benito Sanz in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Chinezu having to interfere. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Axel Tasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cătălin Chinezu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind MZ Rapid's goalkeeper Cătălin Chinezu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MZ Rapid's Romeo Chelaru got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Chinezu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MZ Rapid's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, MZ Rapid's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Cătălin Chinezu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Chelaru made a kick off. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. After 54 minutes of play MZ Rapid's Marc Wagner was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 55 played minutes MZ Rapid got a freekick which was hit by Marc Wagner. Cătălin Chinezu made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, MZ Rapid's Pavel Cojan got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Chinezu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihnea Grigoriu during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mihnea Grigoriu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Cătălin Chinezu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MZ Rapid's Mihnea Grigoriu got a free kick in the 66th minute. Gică Minea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Chelaru in the 72nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cătălin Chinezu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Petru Huștea kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to MZ Rapid getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Pavel Cojan hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Axel Tasis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MZ Rapid's Cătălin Chinezu didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 89th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Cătălin Chinezu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Chelaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MZ Rapid had played much better football throughout.
