Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Rene Vereijt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Westelinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rene Vereijt came out and tried to block the shot, but Cassius Byrne slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. William Westelinx kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, USA's Rene Vereijt threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Vereijt was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Ouagadougou National's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd minute of the match, Cassius Byrne got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rene Vereijt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rene Vereijt made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Monty Rogers sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Cassius Byrne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rene Vereijt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 28 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, William Westelinx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Westelinx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. William Westelinx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Vereijt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the game, FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 44th minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game William Westelinx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Ouagadougou National's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Monty Rogers scored to the left of an out of position Rene Vereijt, making the score, 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassius Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 60th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Vereijt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After 76 minutes, Sam Campbell made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jenson Smith in the 83rd minute. The corner led USA's Jenson Smith to fire away a dangerous shot which Rene Vereijt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 84th minute USA were awarded a corner. Jenson Smith went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 86th minute, Sam Campbell made a precise shot to the right of Rene Vereijt. FC Ouagadougou National's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Rene Vereijt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sam Campbell's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Juan Santi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Santi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. In the 95th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
