Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Gol started the match with the kick off. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin van der Saar having to interfere. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the game, Gustavo Gol lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Gol went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Tribos 4EVER's Nicanor Elequemedo pulled a muscle in his leg after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Arturo Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Arturo Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Edvin van der Saar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After a rather tough play, Tribos 4EVER's Adélio Pinhal got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Iwo Kalak kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvin van der Saar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Tribos 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tribos 4EVER's Iwo Kalak got a free kick in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Faria during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tribos 4EVER's Bruninho Breckenfeld quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arturo Carvallo, made in the 37th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo got a free kick in the 38th minute. Arturo Carvallo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Gustavo Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Tribos 4EVER got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldo Saldanha ran over to the corner to take the kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. After 63 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. A collision led to Tribos 4EVER getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Adélio Pinhal hit a great ball. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tribos 4EVER's Edvin van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adélio Pinhal during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tribos 4EVER's Adélio Pinhal got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edvin van der Saar. Francisco Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Carvallo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Gol in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. If Cristiano Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin van der Saar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uruguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tribos 4EVER had won, even though Uruguay had held more of the ball.
