A wasted opportunity for H E P T A N FC. Macit Taşel kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and H E P T A N FC's Arif Bilge Tokyürek didn't even have to move. Arif Bilge Tokyürek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Xi in the 13th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Şafak Açıkalın got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Şafak Açıkalın stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Şafak Açıkalın tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şafak Açıkalın in the 26th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Xi in the 30th minute of the match. A hard shot by Atabey Ökten from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. H E P T A N FC's Arif Bilge Tokyürek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 41st minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Şafak Açıkalın sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuzey Ustam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 59 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Arif Bilge Tokyürek in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yu Xi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. H E P T A N FC's Arif Bilge Tokyürek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save H E P T A N FC from getting a goal against them. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. If Kuzey Ustam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murat Akpınar hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, H E P T A N FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuzey Ustam to maneuver through the defense. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. After 92 minutes, Şafak Açıkalın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the H E P T A N FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to H E P T A N FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Şafak Açıkalın hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. H E P T A N FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador played a much better game than H E P T A N FC and deserved their victory. The H E P T A N FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
