When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Leigh Blakeley sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Leigh Blakeley took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keith Scotland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo McNeish, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Willie McLeay made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Paddy McNeish however managed to control. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 50th minute. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Borys Oliszewski came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Floodish FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Oliszewski couldn't finish the play. Willie McLeay kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Theo McNeish took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leigh Blakeley in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Patricio Costa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Floodish FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes, Robert Stark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Floodish FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Floodish FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Stark to maneuver through the defense. In the 81stth minute of the game Leigh Blakeley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Paddy McNeish came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Floodish FC's Leigh Blakeley. But to his dismay, Leigh Blakeley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina.
