Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cassius Byrne got the match started through his kick off. Berthold Bach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berthold Bach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Stark in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Berthold Bach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, SV Klingsmoos's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Berthold Bach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Nick Stark tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Torsten Henning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nick Stark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nick Stark. After 38 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Cassius Byrne. Berthold Bach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nick Stark made a kick off. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Henning, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berthold Bach. Berthold Bach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Berthold Bach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Che Doderer kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Raphael Moore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, USA's Raphael Moore got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, SV Klingsmoos's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Berthold Bach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nick Stark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Sam Campbell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berthold Bach having to interfere. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Stark in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 93rd minute of play forced SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Berthold Bach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SV Klingsmoos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though USA had controlled the match.
