Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nestor Hug kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 5th minute of play forced Onagoity AFC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaudencio Gervaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Rolando Sidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When Fulvio Addari fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Onagoity AFC's protests and gave Fulvio Addari a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Fulvio Addari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaudencio Gervaso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaudencio Gervaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaudencio Gervaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Onagoity AFC's Gaudencio Gervaso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Onagoity AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Nestor Hug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Nestor Hug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Onagoity AFC's Rolando Sidro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-2 after 28 minutes of play. The supporters of Onagoity AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Gervaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Hug in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. In the 70th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Onagoity AFC made a substitution. Arnoldo Columbo replaced Amancio Artizar. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. When Nestor Hug came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Onagoity AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Hug couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Rolando Sidro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Illescas could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Gaudencio Gervaso however easily saved by the left post. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Sidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Onagoity AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
