Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Süleyman Reis in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of play forced DEMİREL.FC's goalkeeper Batı Ufuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Hikmet Türkoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, DEMİREL.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özgür Zeki to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute of the game Özgür Zeki made a throw-in which Mehmet Tekinay played forward. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hikmet Türkoğlu. The crowd rose to their feet as Süleyman Reis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Serhan Genç hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Süleyman Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Melquiades Gonzalez was slow to take the kick. During this time DEMİREL.FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 68th minute Jose Correa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batı Ufuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Aykan İskenderoğlu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When DEMİREL.FC's Aykan İskenderoğlu, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for DEMİREL.FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Hikmet Türkoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. DEMİREL.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hikmet Türkoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Süleyman Reis made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 78th minute, Patricio Costa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Batı Ufuk, passed just outside the right post. Hikmet Türkoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. When the referee ended the match the DEMİREL.FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
