Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jovica Zeković's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loren Eaton. In the 16th match minute, Manchester Quijano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loren Eaton to maneuver through the defense. Manchester Quijano's Albino Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Rito in the 26th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Manchester Quijano got a freekick which was hit by Rene Fernendo. Albino Berriotxoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute of the match, Loren Eaton got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jovica Zeković. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Rito in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Oscar Rito made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Oscar Rito sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loren Eaton in the 65th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Rito's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Rito in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 72nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match Loren Eaton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. After 75 played minutes Manchester Quijano got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Rito. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Albino Berriotxoa in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Fernendo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Loren Eaton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Rito came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Albino Berriotxoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 87thth minute of the game Oscar Rito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Rito in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Manchester Quijano could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
