Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. Maore Tejerina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Maore Tejerina slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Ingmar Kracke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Resistencia Tayrona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihnea Vasilian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maore Tejerina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Inguma Espejo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedict Baird in the 25th minute. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Stanislav Dvorskiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! 43 minutes into the match, Resistencia Tayrona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Stanislav Dvorskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedict Baird made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Benedict Baird made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 55 minutes into the match, Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Stanislav Dvorskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Resistencia Tayrona FC made a substitution. Leonides Rioja replaced Inguma Espejo. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stanislav Dvorskiy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 62nd minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Taurino Hernaiz was substituted for Benedict Baird. In the 67th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Taurino Hernaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Dvorskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Stanislav Dvorskiy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Taurino Hernaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maore Tejerina in the 81st minute of the match. When Resistencia Tayrona FC's Taurino Hernaiz in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taurino Hernaiz in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Taurino Hernaiz put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. After 94 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maore Tejerina in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Resistencia Tayrona FC had won after a very even match.
