In the 6th match minute, RØSANEGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, RØSANEGRA's Matheus Pereira got a free kick in the 8th minute. RØSANEGRA's Feliberto Oihenarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save RØSANEGRA from getting a goal against them. A collision led to RØSANEGRA getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Afonso Proença hit a great ball. Douglas Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 26th minute of the match. RØSANEGRA's Dadá França quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 35th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Feliberto Oihenarte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mexico's Luca Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Oihenarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Xavier Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The RØSANEGRA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliberto Oihenarte should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Oihenarte. RØSANEGRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After having played for 94 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliberto Oihenarte came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
