Arsenio Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 11th minute of play. Gildo Tande was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Laus Deo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 13th minute of play forced Laus Deo's goalkeeper Arsenio Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gildo Tande made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Panama's Matthew Garrido. Cacá Diniz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Luis Alberto Moura sent off a good shot on target. Arsenio Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 22nd minute of play forced Laus Deo's goalkeeper Arsenio Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laus Deo's Cacá Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Arsenio Manni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Gildo Tande capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gildo Tande really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 40th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gildo Tande's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gildo Tande helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Laus Deo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo Tande to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Laus Deo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Arsenio Manni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Laus Deo's Arsenio Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 54th minute of play. Arsenio Manni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 57th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laus Deo! The goalkeeper, Arsenio Manni, was totally fooled by Panama's Abraham Alguacil, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 71 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsenio Manni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laus Deo's Robinho Recife was substituted for Kong Ping. Laus Deo made a substitution. Michel de Alcântara replaced Peder Mellingen. Laus Deo's Eliseu Arósio was substituted for Antonio Gora. In the 77th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 83 minutes into the game, Evaristo Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laus Deo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Gildo Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Panama had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
