Matthew McKail was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodion Cămătaru in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Jose Manzanedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Otsoko to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Otsoko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matthew McKail having to make a save. Chile's Thiago Pliego hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-3! When the final whistle sounded Chile left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chelsea Headhunters.
