The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomir Gerlach got free with Dante Lacasa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dušan Vlahović made a great header on Nytäppet Fc's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordara Larrave, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Facundo Cadaval blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sture Abrahamsson having to make a save. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Nytäppet Fc from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Nytäppet Fc's Radomir Gerlach. But to his dismay, Radomir Gerlach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sture Abrahamsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sture Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nytäppet Fc's zone, Luca Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Abrahamsson came out of the goal and Luca Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Nytäppet Fc players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
