After 17 minutes of play, USA's Cassius Byrne made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matías Patrone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los Delfines's Matías Patrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilano Quinten got free with Marco Day in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Matías Patrone made a huge save. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Delfines throughout the match.
