In the 10th minute of the match, Edson-Arantes Maradona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, TheLastDance's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Zachariasz Kociniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. TheLastDance's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. 25 minutes into the match, TheLastDance's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Zachariasz Kociniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Bartosz Furgat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartosz Furgat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes TheLastDance got a freekick which was hit by Roberto-Carlos Junior. 42 minutes into the match, TheLastDance's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Zachariasz Kociniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Kociniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes TheLastDance got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Vale. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zachariasz Kociniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Edson-Arantes Maradona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Kociniewski having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, TheLastDance's Qian Bin Zhen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. TheLastDance's Jedrzej Prusek was substituted for Roberto-Carlos Junior. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachariasz Kociniewski was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Edson-Arantes Maradona made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 84 minutes into the match, TheLastDance's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Zachariasz Kociniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Edson-Arantes Maradona notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Zachariasz Kociniewski threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 94th minute, Bartosz Furgat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TheLastDance fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. When TheLastDance's Edson-Arantes Maradona in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal.
