Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodion Cămătaru in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Otsoko got free with Dante Lacasa in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, one of Chelsea Headhunters:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Dante Lacasa had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Yana Brolin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lorenzo Cazalla lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 78 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Otsoko in the 89th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorato Abancens went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 99 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelsea Headhunters the free kick. In the 99th minute, Lautaro Mancebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
