Artur Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Bacalbașa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bacardi Black Bats's Artur Brudzisz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bacardi Black Bats were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristóvão França, made in the 51st minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Horaţiu Bacalbașa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horaţiu Bacalbașa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Bacalbașa got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Colombia booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Calçada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horaţiu Bacalbașa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
