In the 4th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Golaszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryszard Golaszewski saved Piast Leszczyny from getting behind. Ryszard Golaszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Sylwester Opat with Krzysztof Gizynski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After having played for 9 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Gizynski got free with Rolando Noboa in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Dominik Barowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Dominik Barowicz sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Piast Leszczyny defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ryszard Golaszewski. The Piast Leszczyny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ryszard Golaszewski should have stopped the shot. Dominik Barowiczs short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Rolando Noboa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ryszard Golaszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryszard Golaszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Piast Leszczyny booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryszard Golaszewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ryszard Golaszewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Piast Leszczyny's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Eliseo Mina was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. The throw-in from Sylwester Opat in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Dominik Barowicz put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sylwester Opat in the 61 minute of the game. Ryszard Golaszewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. 64 minutes into the match, Milagros Fraga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryszard Golaszewski. Piast Leszczyny's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milagros Fraga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 66th minute, Ignacy Petka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piast Leszczyny made a substitution. Lefteris Mantas replaced Ignacy Petka. Piast Leszczyny's Aureliusz Tylenda was substituted for Beniamin Golembiewski. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Szkaradek in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryszard Golaszewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Szotek in the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Golaszewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 83rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Piast Leszczyny's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Szkaradek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Szkaradek in the 86th minute of play. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ryszard Golaszewski made a huge save. In the 95th minute Aureliusz Tylenda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
