In the 40thth minute of the game Boudjemaa Liegeon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Patricio Costa took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Jeronimo Feliu to make any attempt to save it. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jeronimo Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Canito's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Feliu came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patryk Literski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 78th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jeronimo Feliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes in the game Álvaro Morata did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Patryk Literski. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Literski in the 91st minute of the match. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Defensores de Canito players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
