Birkan Yağın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Doğan Zakir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ÇALIMLI getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Nestor Paraibano hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Barnabé Amice made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Barnabé Amice came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay's Xavier Zoido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Barnabé Amice in the 22 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnabé Amice in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vecdet Sarıcabay during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vecdet Sarıcabay kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Paraguay booed when ÇALIMLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğan Zakir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Birkan Yağın was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barnabé Amice to make the kick off. Zülfü Dicle kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ÇALIMLI's goalkeeper Birkan Yağın, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 played minutes ÇALIMLI got a freekick which was hit by Vecdet Sarıcabay. The supporters of Paraguay booed when ÇALIMLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birkan Yağın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 62nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Birkan Yağın. That made the score 1-2 after 82 minutes of play. ÇALIMLI's Barnabé Amice got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birkan Yağın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, ÇALIMLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Paraguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ÇALIMLI throughout the match.
