Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Defensores de Canito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Morata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Feliu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute Patryk Literski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeronimo Feliu, 1-0. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jeronimo Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jeronimo Feliu could save by the left post. If Boudjemaa Liegeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Agustín Saelices took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jeronimo Feliu to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jeronimo Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of the match. Boudjemaa Liegeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boudjemaa Liegeon to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 55th minute of play forced Defensores de Canito's goalkeeper Jeronimo Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Feliu having to make a save. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute of play forced Defensores de Canito's goalkeeper Jeronimo Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Defensores de Canito's Jeronimo Feliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jeronimo Feliu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Feliu having to interfere. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Feliu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Patryk Literski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeronimo Feliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Defensores de Canito's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Jeronimo Feliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boudjemaa Liegeon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Canito's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Feliu came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
