A collision led to FA Sandtown getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Benoit Van Bettenrode hit a great ball. If Benoit Van Bettenrode had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when FA Sandtown's Aleksander Kissel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Radowit Trzaskoma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 38th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aleksander Kissel went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksander Kissel to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Benoit Van Bettenrode shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Koczara came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Janusz Koczara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FA Sandtown's Janusz Koczara. But to his dismay, Janusz Koczara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Koczara in the 90th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Janusz Koczara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FA Sandtown walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
