Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Cumhur Gök. DENVER™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Peru booed when DENVER™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Chevereșan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seb Hedges in the 14th minute. Mustafa Cumhur Gök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Peru's Milagros Fraga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Cumhur Gök was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by DENVER™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Peru's Joaquin Prats to fire away a dangerous shot which Mustafa Cumhur Gök despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Cumhur Gök. DENVER™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 30th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Murillo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seb Hedges in the 52nd minute of play. Mustafa Cumhur Gök showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 54th minute of the match. DENVER™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Luz Tejedor scored to the left of an out of position Mustafa Cumhur Gök, making the score, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Julian Murillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mustafa Cumhur Gök. That made the score 0-5 after 69 minutes of play. In the 75th minute Seb Hedges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniël Orange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Beto Maranhense got a free kick in the 90th minute. Peru played a much better game than DENVER™ and deserved their victory. The DENVER™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
