Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to GoooooL getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Filip Otețea hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, GoooooL's Iosif Şiman got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavril Nicea saved GoooooL from getting behind. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cengizhan Kaan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 黄超亦 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 黄超亦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Mircea Foltea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goalkeeper Gavril Nicea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After 63 played minutes GoooooL got a freekick which was hit by Filip Otețea. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 黄超亦 in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 黄超亦 in the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 黄超亦 in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Costa got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 黄超亦, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, 黄超亦 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 黄超亦 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Engin Dönmez in the 92nd minute of play. Many of Venezuela's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Venezuela may have spent more time on the ball, but GoooooL were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
