The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Piast Leszczyny getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. When Peru's Rafael Gallo, in the 92nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Tylenda in the 94th minute of the match.
